2. Scope
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases of our handmade ceramic products (“Products”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

3. Placing an Order

• Orders can be placed via our website.

• Ensure your contact and delivery details are complete and correct. Mistakes should be reported immediately to denise.aimee.rijnen.ceramics@gmail.com

• After placing an order, you will receive an order acknowledgment email. This is not a confirmation of acceptance.

• Your order is only confirmed once we send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. This is when the purchase contract is formed.

• If an item is out of stock, we will inform you and proceed with the rest of your order.

4. Prices & Payment

• Prices include applicable EU VAT. Orders outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees; these are your responsibility.

• Delivery charges are added at checkout.

• Payment must be made in full before dispatch. We accept the payment methods shown on our Website.

• Occasionally, pricing errors may occur. In such cases, we will contact you to offer the correct price or allow you to cancel the order.

5. Delivery

• We currently ship to the countries listed on our Website. PO Box addresses are not accepted.

• Delivery is via our chosen courier. We aim to ship promptly but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

• Orders may arrive in multiple parcels at no extra cost.

• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers once full payment is received.

6. Products

• Product images are for illustration; actual items may vary slightly in colour, texture, or shape due to their handmade nature.

• Minor variations are not considered defects.

• Resale of our products without permission is not allowed.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off)

• If you are an EU customer, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt.

• Unfortunately, as a small handmade business, we cannot accept returns for personalised items or items made to order, nor for heavily discounted sale items.

• To return a product, email us at denise.aimee.rijnen.ceramics@gmail.com Products must be returned in original, undamaged condition.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a tracked
  service and keeping proof of postage.

• Refunds (excluding delivery costs) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

8. Faulty Products

• You have legal rights if products are faulty. Notify us within 30 days of receipt by emailing denise.aimee.rijnen.ceramics@gmail.com

• Faulty products will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.

• Minor natural variations in handmade products are not considered faults.

9. Returns & Exchanges

• See the Right of Withdrawal section for guidance.

• For exchanges, we recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order.

• For high-value orders (€250+), please take a photo of the parcel before opening for insurance purposes in case of damage during shipping.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Our products are for domestic/private use. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

• We cannot limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or legal excluded.

11. Force Majeure

• We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, courier delays).

12. Miscellaneous

• The contract is binding and cannot be transferred by you.

• We may transfer or subcontract our rights/obligations.

• Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by Dutch and EU law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Dutch courts.
